Birth Pool Sales
What type of shipping do you offer?
We ship via FedEx Ground for larger orders, and FedEx Smart Post for smaller ones. We have options for faster shipping if you need it; however, we find these to be the most economical shipping options for most people.
This is a map showing the shipping times from our warehouse to your door via FedEx Ground: Ground Map. (The day you order doesn't count in the shipping time. Even though the packages are picked up daily by FedEx, they start their shipping calculations as of the next business day. For example, if you're in Houston and order on Tuesday, your package will arrive on Thursday.)
How do I fill my pool with water?
You'll need a tap connector and a drinking water quality hose (they're free of lead and phthalates). We stock standard sizes of hose connectors that will fit your shower pipe and we carry drinking water hoses. You can also pick these up at your local hardware store.
How do I fill my pool with air?
You'll need an air pump - not an air compressor. The adapters on the pool are similar to those on an air mattress. We stock the air pump that we prefer, or you can pick one up at your local hardware store. After the birth, you'll use the same air pump to remove the air from the pool.
How do I drain the water from the pool?
You can siphon the water out or you can use a drain pump. We stock the one that we have used hundreds of times in our rental kits, as we find that it empties the pool quickly and with a minimum of fuss. We recommend emptying the water into your toilet (lift the seat and the lid, place the hose into the toilet, set the seat and the lid down to hold the hose, and begin draining) to avoid the possibility of any water contaminated with birth fluids to come into contact with your yard - or your neighbor's!
